As a former classroom teacher, turned instructional coach, I understand the challenges educators face everyday. From juggling multiple subjects, to supporting every child's unique needs, to time constraints, state requirements, and so much more. It's a lot. I've seen it all, during my time in the classroom, and as a leader beyond those four walls. But more importantly, I've witnessed the incredible passion and dedication teachers bring to the classroom everyday. Sometimes giving up their own personal needs and time with family and friends to be everything for their students.
Sparklr Edu is my way of shining a light on those amazing educators and lightening their load in whatever way I can. My passions lie in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and well-being and because of that I am on a quest to make it a big deal! I see the value and importance in starting here. Right here. The ever growing pile of duties and responsibilities is WHY I want to focus on our own well-being! We hear "take care of yourself" and "protect your time" while doing neither far to often and I want to change that! I want to equip teachers with the resources and support they need to thrive.
Through Sparklr Edu, I want to create a community where educators can share their best practices, find innovative solutions, get well-being support, instructional coaching, and foster that feeling of empowerment in order to make a difference in whatever capacity that may be, without the pressure of making it Insta perfect. Join me on this journey, and let's make teachers lives simpler, more joyful, and ultimately, more impactful.
